The selection night for Miss Galway will run this Friday evening. DNA Nightclub is the main sponsor for this year’s contest and look forward to supporting this year’s Miss Galway throughout her reigning year. The winner of the Miss Galway contest will be signed with Catwalk Models and sponsored by Sarah Mason Professional and Educo Gym to get her prepared for the Miss Ireland pageant at the end of the Summer. The charity sponsor which Miss Galway will support throughout 2019/20 is Cancer Care West.
This year’s interview panel will consist of: Mandy Maher of Catwalk Models, Caroline Downey of Carried Away PR, Sarah Mason of Sarah Mason Professional, Shannon McEntee of DNA Nightclub and the current Mr Ireland Wayne Walsh. All of whom are looking forward to being involved in the selection process and look forward to crowning the winner.
The winner of Miss Galway will go on to represent the City and County in the Miss Ireland finale. Miss Ireland is one of the World’s longest running beauty pageants, established in 1947 it has been the launch-pad for many well-known, successful and empowering women in Ireland. Those who have taken part in the event have found it helpful for their confidence building, interview and media skills and boosting their professional profile.

On Saturday April 13 th , DNA Live will bring the ultimate Noughties Covers Band Hollaback to Galway. This band knows how to get the party started, playing nothing but the BEST music from the 00’s era. After rocking DNA with a mash-up of 00’s favourites in January, they’re coming back for another much-anticipated gig.
